I was expecting him to be instrumental in defeating Malachite. I was not expecting him to die in the battle. And I was certainly not expecting his funeral to be an homage to Spock's from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Good night, sweet planeteer, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.
