Writer's Block: It must be love

My first crush actually returned the feelings, if you can believe it. At age 3, no less. I'm pretty sure it lasted until kindergarten. The crush sorta came back when we were 11, but by the time I moved to Washington, our relationship had evolved to where he was part of the family rather than a potential love interest (his mom was single, and my dad was his Scoutmaster before we moved).
