Call me crazy, but you know the designs for Rivendell in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings films? That's my dream home, right there. I love the flowing lines and the way it perfectly exists in it's environment without damaging it. Now if only we could get Elvish looking tv's and appliances.
